Tell us about Voices of Strength voices of pride?
“Voices of Strength, Faces of Pride” is a global platform that celebrates the strength, diversity, and resilience of the LGBTQIA+ community. By giving ambassadors and organizations greater visibility, we highlight the positive impact they are making around the world. In addition, we foster a community of like-minded individuals who come together to create meaningful change.
What made you come up with the idea?
I have been advocating for equality and acceptance for many years, with a strong focus on mental health and suicide prevention, LGBTQIA+ parenting, sexual health, and overall representation. Through my experience as an ambassador and being openly out for the past 15 years, I have come to feel that we sometimes focus too much on the negative aspects, rather than on the incredible work being done around the world to fight inequality, discrimination
and building safe spaces. In August 2025, I had the pleasure of organizing Mr. Gay Europe 2025 in Amsterdam together with a dear friend. There, I was reminded by all the finalists of the powerful initiatives they were leading and the motivation they had to drive real change. This experience marked the beginning of Voices of
Strength, Faces of Pride. I wanted to showcase their stories, as well as those of other ambassadors, and highlight these inspiring initiatives, hoping to encourage others to do the same.
What do you hope to achieve from the project?
By giving visibility to ambassadors and organizations that are actively driving change, I aim to highlight the positive impact already happening within the
LGBTQIA+ community worldwide. Ultimately, the goal is to build a supportive, like-minded community that inspires others to take action, strengthens existing
initiatives, and contributes to greater equality, acceptance, and well-being for all.
How can people get involved?
People can get involved by supporting and amplifying the voices of ambassadors and organizations featured on the platform, sharing their stories within their own networks, and actively engaging with the community. Individuals and organizations are also encouraged to submit their own initiatives, collaborate on projects, and contribute ideas that help drive positive change. By working together, we can strengthen existing efforts and inspire others to take action for equality and acceptance.
